Hey loves!  I came across this really cool spot down by the water with a beautiful view of Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Verrazano bridge. Being born and raised in NYC, you kind of forget what a beautiful place it is and take the simple things for granted that many people travel across the world to see. This was an amazing place to shoot and the photos really captured the simplicity that most people don't get to see in NYC.

Top: Thrift store | Shorts & Bag: F21 | Shoes: (Shop similar) Urban Outfitters

I was super excited to style this top I picked up form the thrift shop a few weeks ago. When I bought it, my friends were making fun of me because they claimed it looked like a "granny shirt". The old me would've put it back on the rack after that, but I've learned to go with what I like when it comes to clothes since everyone has a different style, and I'm the one wearing it anyway. Plus, it actually turned out to be one of my favorite shirts!

I paired the blouse with a pair of minty teal laced shorts to bring out the subtle teal colors in the shirt. These shorts are one of my faves because they're super trendy and comfortable. They're also very complimenting to the body. I kept it neutral with brown gladiator sandals and a tan floral bag. I paired this gold multi-chain necklace with these super cute gold earrings I bought at a thrift shop. I love mixing vintage with modern and I think this outfit really embodied that.
