Top: WalMart || Pants: Uniqlo || Shoes: Traffic || Bag: H&M || Flannel: The Salvation Army

Hey loves! This was a really fun outfit to shoot, and it will probably be the last time I'll be wearing pants since the weather's starting to really warm up. I reaaaaaally hate the heat, I'm not sure if it's because I am a winter baby but the heat really brings out the cranky side of me lol. Well, aside from wearing black, my next favorite color to wear is definitely white. It's so clean and chic, I LOVE IT!

As you know, I go to school Upstate and I have a very limited selection of stores to shop at. I find a lot of cute, unique items at the Salvation Army (which is a charitable organization that sells donated clothing & miscellaneous items.. for those of you who may not know)… It's better than most thrift stores, in my opinion, because the prices are unbelievably low and they have the cutest vintage clothing. Just to give you an idea, I only paid $2 for this flannel and I never pay more than $5 for any of my shirts or jeans I buy from there. It's perfect for a broke college student shopping on a budget, like me lol. Another one of my go-to places while I'm at school is Wal Mart. I usually only buy my groceries and household products there but I occasionally come across some cute pieces with potential. This RUN DMC tee is actually a Men's T-Shirt in a size small, that I cut into a crop top. Creativity will definitely set your wardrobe aside from the average person.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of white pants for months now, and I've had no luck. The ones I find are either, unflattering, too tight, too loose, too long, too sheer, etc. I actually found these white legging pants at Uniqlo the other day and fell in love, they're so stretchy which makes them very comfortable to wear and move around in. However, they are a bit see through which is kind of annoying, but hey, it worked with this outfit perfectly. I'm going to continue searching for the perfect pair. I added this flannel to add a pop of color to the outfit, and it also helped cover up the sheerness of the pants. I wanted to go for a little more than my typical casual look, so I threw on these adorable tan sandal heels. I am sooooo in love with these shoes, even though my feet may feel otherwise. Ughhhh, they are so cute and they take any outfit from a 5 to a 10. These sandals are trending right now and you can find them, or similar ones, in almost any store. What shoes would you wear with your white on white ensemble? Tag me on your IG photo to show me @Brittroqksz  (:

Till next time!

Dress: H&M || Booties: TJMaxx || Bag: Call It Spring || Denim shirt: H&M || Watch: Burberry

HEY HEY! Happy Friday loves, it's been a loooong week. I'm finally getting back into the groove of things here at home, including working and shooting for the blog. The weather has been really unpredictable lately, one day I'll be wearing shorts and sandals and the next I'll be wearing jeans lol.

It was pretty warm the other day. I went to the city to hang with my good friend and grab a bite to eat so I wanted to wear something simple. I threw on this grey maxi dress and I tied the denim shirt around my waist (for aesthetic purposes only.) I loved the way these booties looked with the dress, although I was definitely regretting wearing them about halfway through the day. They are not the most comfortable shoes to walk around in.
Note to self: ALWAYS carry comfortable shoes to change into when going to the city or when walking a lot! The cheetah book bag completed the outfit and added some interest to it.

I don't usually mix colors the way I did here. I like to stick to the same color family, whether it be all neutrals, B&W, cool colors, warm colors or monochromatic colors, but it actually worked in my favor this time. The browns in the bag complemented the denim very well, and the grey color of the dress wasn't too dark where the color of the denim would get lost when next to it. Maxi dresses and skirts are like my favorite things to wear in the spring/summer, which you can probably tell from my posts lol. They're so complementing, and trendy, if you don't have any you better go out and get you some!

Till next time!

XOXO,
