Bowl Hat & Clutch: H&M // Top: F21 // Plaid Flannel: Vans // Skort: Outfit Made // Shoes: Traffic

I'm so excited for the arrival of the fall season, so I have been incorporating fall inspo into my summer outfits lately. This top has been sitting in my drawer for years. I think I bought it in 2010 from F21 and wore it no more than two times. lol. I used to do that A LOT, I'm getting better at only buying things I'm actually going to wear now. Although, I have to admit my horrible habit has come in handy at times, such as today. I just love the Sangria color of this blouse. Sangria is a big color this fall according to the Pantone Fall 2014 Color Report and I can't wait to try it out with some other trending colors.

Don't you just love this vivid white skort? It's sporty yet chic, and will definitely brighten up whatever outfit you pair it with. It's a pretty popular street style trend now and can be found in Forever 21 and on Outfit Made. I am actually selling the one you see in these photos through Poshmark,

I kept it simple and summery with my peachy colored accessories and a floral necklace to add a summer vibe to the outfit. Round statement necklaces always complement scoop neck tops very well. I love adding a boyish element to my ensembles, I feel it adds a little rugged feel to my girly looks. Plaid is a popular trend for the fall, and also one of my favorites. Plaid flannels are a staple piece, wear it with  jeans and converse or dress it up with heels, it's a fun piece that looks good with almost anything (watch out when pairing with other prints). Strappy sandal heels are amazingggg! They are definitely a summer staple and can even work with fall looks, too. They're so simple, yet classy…something you definitely want to have in your wardrobe!

Shirt & Hat: UO // Body-con dress & Bag: F21 // Gold Sandals: Aldo

Happy Friday! I'm heading back to school soon so I figured I'd go thrifting in the city to pick up some cute transitional pieces to bring back to school with me. I wanted to be comfortable and wear something that would be easy to change in and out of. I bought this white jersey tee from the guys section at Urban Outfitters . It's a pretty airy shirt, making it a good (& comfortable) choice for a day of shopping. I bought a size M purposely so it could fit me a bit baggy. I wanted to wear something cool and a bit more girly under the shirt so I chose to wear this body-con dress I bought form f21 a while ago. I kept with the comfy mood with these gold platform sandals I got from Aldo. These shoes are my current obsession, they can be dressed up or down and they look stunning either way. I went the tomboy route by adding this 5-panel.
Oh and as you probably noticed, my hair is purple. I've been contemplating this for a little while now and one day I just decided to do it. I felt like I needed a change, I haven't dyed my hair for over a year which is a long time for me lol. I wasn't sure about it at first but I've grown to love it. I love being bold and I think this look portrayed that perfectly. I thought it was cool that you could see the Freedom Tower in some of these photos. I have an obsession with skylines and sunsets lately, there's just something so calming about them. I feel so grateful to live in one of the most beautiful and eclectic cities in the world. What I find to be the best thing about NYC is that this is a place where you are free to be yourself and there is inspiration lurking on every street corner. Of course, freedom is one of the my most important values. Think freely, live freely.

So I'm going through a crisis right now where I feel like I have absolutely no clothes. Sure I have a closet full, plus like 10 drawers, and a few bins but nothing seems to meet my needs these days. Everything I own doesn't quite fit the part, I feel that it is so hard to find those perfect items that are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. There's nothing worse than looking cute but feeling uncomfortable, I don't know how so many people do it. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way lol. Thankfully, the Fall season is almost here (my favorite season) and it'll be much easier to find clothes that make me happy and make me look good (:
Feeling this way has taught me a great deal on improvising, ya know working with what you have. I just bought these acid washed harem pants from F21 the other day and when I see acid washed denim the first thing I think of is 80's & 90's fashion. It was a bit chilly out so I threw this vintage looking button up I thrifted a while back over my top (check it out in one of my previous posts from last summer: ). Speaking about improvising, this baby pink top is not actually a shirt, it's more like a slip (you know, the tight dress-like things you wear under your clothes to suck everything in LOL). While rummaging through my drawers I could not find a shirt that went with the look I was going for so I figured I'd give this a shot and it ended up working out better than I thought. I elevated the look a bit with these adorable bone colored wedges from Aldo. They're having a great SALE right now so be sure to check them out online or in store! I accesorized a bit more than usual with this body chain I got from Amazon, a whistle chain and bracelets from F21, rings from Aldo and this adorable hat from H&M.

Hope you liked, stay posted for new looks (:
