2014 RECAP.

Hey guys, thanks for coming back to read my 2014 recap. This year flew by, as every year seems to do. Fortunately, this was one of my better years. 2013 was a really hard year for me because a lot of unexpected things were thrown at me and I was at a really low point in my life. I vowed to make 2014 better, by not allowing negativity into my life and taking every setback as an opportunity to learn and grow. I can proudly say I succeeded and made 2014 as great as possible.

This past year I got to travel, I made new friends, I continued to build an amazing relationship with the love of my life, I got my first apartment, I witnessed my brother propose to his fiancé, who then gave birth to my adorable nephew, I made the Dean's List in school, I got an internship with a high-end designer, and most importantly I learned more about myself than I ever knew.

Now, I vow to make 2015 even better than this year. I plan to travel to Florida, Europe, and the Caribbean. I really want to study abroad this summer in Milan, Italy and I am trying to fundraise some money to make it possible, so if you would like to help a young lady achieve one of her dreams you can visit my GoFundMe page and read my story and donate here. Anything will help(: Anyways,  I can't wait to bring in the new year with the people I love and make 2015 a year full of greatness, good health, and prosperity. Below, I posted some photos of my favorite 2015 memories and outfits. I hope you like!

Here are some of my favorite looks from 2014

Can you believe today is the last day of 2014?! I sure can't. This year was a great year, despite some rough patches. Check in to Fashion Freeway later today for a recap post on 2014, including some of my favorite memories and outfits.

So I wanted to give you guys some NYE outfit inspiration. If you're not much of a glitter and sequins type girl, like me, then this outfit is a perfect choice. The nude heels, shimmery pants, fur vest, and floppy hat are glamorous and feminine, and the leather moto jacket adds the perfect amount of grunge to give the outfit a more laid-back feel. I tried something different by wearing the vest on top of my jacket, because I hate the way it looks underneath it, and it's cold in NY so I definitely needed the warmth it provides. It actually looked really cool, and it pulled the look together. Obviously, you wouldn't wear your jacket inside, so just take it off and put the vest over your shirt for an indoors look. Most girls wear dresses on NYE, so I wanted to do something a bit more daring and unexpected. I hope you guys liked it, and possibly got some inspiration for your looks tonight.

Have a safe and happy NYE! Thanks for reading (:
