DESTINED BOUTIQUE SUMMER '16 COLLECTION.

Destined Boutique Summer '16 Collection. Styled by Fashion Freeway.

A friend of mine, Deonna Spence, designs the cutest womenswear pieces, specializing in dresses and skirts. They're so chic, but what I love most about her pieces is that they are super versatile. You can dress them down for a casual summer day, or dress them up for a special occasion. Her fabrics, color ways, and silhouettes are PERFECTION. I'm not just saying this because she's my friend, I promise. Her pieces are hand made, in high quality and they are flattering for all body shapes and sizes. She does all of the work from start to finish. I can't help but admire her talent. So if you're looking for some cute pieces to add to your summer wardrobe, look no further.

SOPHISTICATED STREETWEAR.

Mix streetwear with chic for an effortlessly fly day to day look. A midi skirt paired with a hoodie is both comfortable and cute. Perfect for a day of shopping, chilling, school, etc.

Pair a simple body suit with statement bottoms like these printed parachute pants for another effortless look. With busy bottoms, you should steer away from wearing a printed top, it usually looks too cluttered and tacky. A simple black top offers the perfect balance to these eye-catching pants. Keep it cool and casual with a pair of kicks and you are ready to go. Remember, never be afraid to pair pieces that you would normally never think to. You'd be surprised with how many new combinations you can create with the clothes you already own.

TRAPHIC MAGAZINE SUMMER '16: NO ORANGE JUST BLACK.

I had the pleasure of styling Orange is the New Black star Jessica Pimentel for Traphic Magazine's Summer 2016 cover shoot. The theme of the shoot was a play on the title of the show and we focused on a dark & edgy vibe. Ms. Pimentel was a pleasure to work with. In this article, the Brooklyn native shows us that she's actually nothing like "Maria", the character she plays on the show and she gives us some fun info about the new season of OITNB!

Check out the article here.

UNCOOL // A TRIBUTE TO THE ORLANDO SHOOTING

Wearing 'Uncool' cap by AZS TOKYO.

Do you ever stop to think that it could have been you?
It could have been YOU walking past the twin towers on Sept. 11, 2001.
It could have been YOU who drowned in your house during a hurricane.
It could have been YOU at the Christmas Party in San Bernadino.
It could have been YOU sitting in class.

It could have been YOU innocently trying to have a great night with your friends at a nightclub, when your life was suddenly and unfairly taken from you.
It could have been YOUR cell phone that was ringing off the hook as your loved ones tried to reach you to see if you were alright.
It could have been YOU to speak up and prevent something horrible like this from happening.

Never be afraid to voice your opinion to someone who seems to be hateful and prejudice in any way. If they seem dangerous, alert officials. Nobody ever deserves what happened this past week in the Orlando nightclub. It's disgusting that hate crimes are still occurring. Wake up people. Open your minds. Stop believing what the media tells you, and stop harboring such hatred. There's nothing cool about it. Being in Orlando when the tragedy occurred, hit so close to home. I couldn't stop thinking about what if it had been me and my family? Never ever take a minute of your life and loved ones for granted. My heart goes out to all of those who lost their lives in the shooting & all their loved ones who have to cope with this horrible tragedy.

Be open minded. Speak up. Make a difference.

SLAY.

Band tees have made a massive comeback this season and I took full advantage by making my own distressed tees. It's such a fun process for me, bc there's just something about throwing bleach and ripping holes in a shirt that is so therapeutic lmao. (I swear I'm not crazy.) They're unisex, females can wear them as a dress (like I styled Alex above), tie a knot in the front (as I wore it above), or just as you would a regular T-shirt. Dress them up , dress them down. They're so versatile and they spice up any outfit to make you look effortlessly dope. New tees will be available for purchase soon. Follow me on Instagram to stay updated!
